We play Everettian music

HELLO MY STALKER. STOP TYPING MY NAME INTO GOOGLE AND GO AWAY PLEASE.

After DJ Bob Dylan moved to 6 music to present his theme time hour a year ago, Sam has a) finally given up on that joke which wasn’t even funny three years ago, b) decided to just go by his first name for DJ purposes, and c) started listening to Bob Dylan’s theme time hour on 6 music.

Anyway, Sam is back from his year abroad now. Don’t worry, he only found about three foreign bands who were any good, and they all sing in English anyway. DJ David Bowie’s probably never coming back now after he vomited in Sam’s tent at Glastonbury, but he might get in another guy called Sam to rival the Nat and Nat show. Listen in to hear Sam passing off jokes from the Viz letterbocks as his own and some folk music. And some crying about how the Spitz is closing. And some shouting about how anyone who is even thinking of voting for Boris Johnson is a massive, massive twat. And (the real) Tuesday Weld again if they have an album out this year I would imagine.

Wikisamopedia:

Sam once held the record for the longest amount of time spent on air, when on the 26th September 2005, one in three hours of the day was Sam. This record was broken by uber-DJ Jamie Paul 24 hours later when Sam got far too drunk to do his show and Jamie stayed in the studio for 8 hours in a row, from midnight till eight in the morning. The crazy bastard

Other than being the world’s coolest DJ, Sam can be seen angrily stalking the corridors of the French department hunting Tories, or cheerily strolling round the Italian department. He also occasionally writes mediocre essays and pretends to play the piano. He would like one day to meet a girl like Stuart Murdoch would photograph.

When not being widely admired and massively respected as a DJ, Sam likes to spend his time being highly acclaimed.

His Mariokart DS friend code is: 399.506.692.606

FACT: Sam is great mates with both Bob Dylan & David Bowie. Here's the three of them on a night out, just after Sam's finished one of his very wicked DJ sets. Look, they're even wearing badges! Bless...

Likes:

The finer things in life - Cuisine, literature, fine wine, and wit, or rather, ready meals from Sainsbury's, Asterix books, (especially if they're in French so I can pretend to be cool), bottles over £5, and Viz.

Nintendo, and specifically Shigeru Miyamoto, probably more than is healthy, and definitely more than his friends would like.

Planet Sound on Channel 4 Teletext, and Peep Show.

Telling his friends from back home that no matter where they may be, or what they may be doing, London is better than where they are.

Dislikes:

A great many things, but at the moment the following stick in my mind:

Mediocre things - James Blunt, The Brunswick Centre, Keane, Dan Brown, Harry Potter, The O.C, Polyester, Commonwealth Hall, Ceefax, Jimmy Carr, Playstations 3, the nonsense shouting E4 adverts which are still running a year after I left the country.

Stupidity and ignorance
Economy/Value comestibles
Robert Kilroy-Silk
People who say 'You know, if you think about it...'

I don’t like iPods either, something to do with sound quality or how they are leading to the destruction of the album as an art form, but that’s probably just me being a twat.

The Rough Trade shop bugs the fuck out of me too but I still go there and hate myself.

Bodily anomaly:

Webbed finger on his left hand

Funniest thing in the world:

The German language

Worst thing in the World:
