Passion Pit - Little Secrets
Time for more of the same from the falsetto-fronted five piece from Boston. Not that this is a bad thing as Passion Pit seem to have perfected this radio-friendly form of synth driven indie with their catchy bass lines and vocal hooks. They deliver here with ‘Little Secrets’ - another three and a half minutes of sickening happiness including a sing-along chorus and the indie-pop all time favourite, a choir of children! This song is likely to be heard on many a dance floor for the next six months, and if Passion Pit are not for you it might be an idea to avoid going out until well after Christmas.
Released 16th November 2009 on Columbia Records
