Paramore - Ignorance
I have to admit that I have a guilty pleasure for pop-punk music. The hooks and energy are infectious and this song has plenty of both. 'Ignorance' is not particularly original with the typical driving guitar and drums capped off with singer Hayley Williams’ emo lead vocals. The track is unlikely to leave a lasting impression but while it’s playing it’s simply a lot of fun. Having listened to this song a dozen or more times for the purpose of reviewing it hasn’t yet grown irritating, which is always good sign for such a pop hook fuelled song. While most alternative music fans would not admit to liking a pop-punk song by a band fronted by a devout Christian, I am sure many secretly have this on their iPod.
