Dutch Uncles - Dutch Uncles

Ok. So these kids are under twenty and already have XFM and NME talking about them (though not very loudly). I think I'd probably hate them anyway out of pure envy, but as it is their music alone is bad enough to make me hate them.

It takes about half a minute before this album gets frustrating and starts grating on your ears. The guitar riffs are all so very similar and all so very annoying, the composition of the songs is all so very predictable.

There is nothing in here that surprised me except, perhaps, how consistently irritating it managed to be. Never mind though, because these sub-20 wannabes have still got plenty of time to pursue a different dream.
