About MP3 Streams
MP3 is the commonly-known format for storing digital music. An MP3 stream is based on the same technology, but is used for listening to live audio over the internet.
MP3 streams are supported by most major media player, however some versions of Windows Media Player cannot cope with MP3 streams (they'd rather we use the propriatry WMA format). We recommend using either Winamp or iTunes.
About Ogg Stream
The Ogg audio format is an alternative patent free compression format. It's supported by Winamp- you can find other software that supports it here.
NOTE: Because we're a student station we generally only broadcast during term time. For full term dates see the following UCL webpage.
